Sales tax holiday may not happen this year
Georgia lawmakers are considering getting rid of the sales tax holiday on back-to-school items as a way to save millions of dollars in state revenue.
SECAUCUS — The Children's Place Retail Stores Inc. said fiscal fourth-quarter profit declined, but after excluding certain items was in with market estimates as discounts helped boost sales during the holiday season.
